Built on 30+ Years of Travel Technology Experience
Fynally was founded by Sean Van den Haute, whose work in travel technology began in 1993.
Sean founded Stargate Cyber Active, which created and operated Worldspan’s distribution network across 35 countries and three continents. Worldspan later became part of Travelport. Alongside its distribution activities, Stargate developed travel technology products and management systems for the Worldspan/Travelport client base, helping drive substantial adoption and market-share growth throughout the territories it served.
Sean subsequently founded Skyjunxion, a Dubai-based travel technology company specializing in corporate travel management systems designed to work with complex legacy travel infrastructure. Skyjunxion technology was adopted by organizations including Airbus Helicopters, Atlantis Resorts, and Amex across eight countries in Latin America, the Middle East, Asia, and South Africa.
In 2025, Skyjunxion pivoted from developing systems around legacy travel infrastructure to building AI-native travel technology. Fynally is the first product to emerge from that strategy and Skyjunxion’s current primary focus. It also establishes the technical and operating foundation for a broader pipeline of planned AI-native travel technology products.
